Christopher Emmanuel Paul (born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, May 6, 1985, age 25 years) is a professional basketball player an American who currently plays point guard in the New Orleans Hornets. He was awarded the NBA's Rookie of the Year Award in 2006 and gold medals at the 2008 Olympics with the national team USA basketball.
Chris Paul managed to break an NBA record previously made by Alvin Robertson, which won at least one steal in 105 consecutive games made by Robertson in the range of November 1985 to December 1986. Paul managed to break the record on December 18, 2008 second quarter when the game between the Hornets San Antonio Spurs counter at New Orleans Arena, New Orleans approached the finish. He managed to steal the ball from Tony Parker who intend to lure into his team colleagues.
Paul's record was finally stopped at number 108 after he was unable to reach a steal at all in the game between the Hornets at cons Orlando Magic Amway Arena, Orlando, held on December 26, 2008)
